When creating a report, you have a number configuration options that allow you to specify the parameters for which athletes should be included, and what data should be displayed. Below is an explanation for the attributes of a report.
The report name is pretty self explanatory, but as with many other aspects of FYTT, consistent naming conventions can increase clarity and understanding for all users of the platform. A good report name will call out the important constructs of the data it's reporting on.
The group option is how you control which athletes are included in the report. You can create as many groups as you need in order to organize athletes for reporting purposes (see the Groups guide for more information on creating groups).
Use the positions option to restrict the report's athletes by position. This attribute is optional; if left blank, athletes of all positions will be included. (Athlete positions can be specified on the "Sheet" tab of the Roster.)
The dates attribute specifies the start date and end date for the report. Data outside this date range will not be included. The date selector includes four dynamic date ranges:
- Last 30 Days
- Last 90 Days
- Last 180 Days
- Last 365 Days
If you select any of these options, the report will dynamically display data within the specified range using today's date as the end date. For example, if you select Last 30 Days, the report will only show data from the last 30 days every time the report is viewed.
If you select a Custom Range, the start date and end date will remain fixed, and the report data will be static.
Use months attribute to filter out data points from certain months of the year. By default, all months are included. Deselecting a month will exclude data points from that month.
