Reports turn the metrics, training, and attendance you collect in FYTT into views you can read at a glance and share. This guide covers each kind of report and how to share and export them.
The Reports page
Open Reports from the team's navigation. Every report the team has is listed in one table with its Report name, Kind, Scope, Date range, and when it was last Updated. Click a row to open the report.
Create a report from New report (1). The tabs (2) narrow the list:
All reports — everything in one list.
Group — group reports your staff built.
Athlete — athlete reports your staff built.
FYTT — reports every team has without building anything: the Attendance report, the Training report, and a Sprint report for each sprint profile your organization has set up.
New report offers Group report, Athlete report, and Chart this with Flex, which opens Flex so you can describe a chart and have it drawn from your data (see the Flex guide). Only coaches who can edit the team see New report.
Group reports
A group report compares athletes side by side: one row per athlete, one column per metric — ideal for testing days and team-wide trends.
Choose New report → Group report, give it a Name, pick a Group (leave it blank to cover the whole team), and set Group athletes by to None or Position. Change these later from More → Settings, which is also where you delete the report.
Columns
Click Add Column (1) and choose:
Metric — pick a team metric, optionally rename the column, and set Display to Graph or Numbers. Numbers can show the Most recent and Best measurement, plus Percentile for metrics that track one.
Notes — every coach note recorded for each athlete inside the date range.
Sprint profile — each athlete's latest two sprint profiles, plotted. Only offered when your organization has sprint profiles.
See the metrics guide for setting up the metrics you report on.
Scope and date range
The strip under the header (4) sets what the report counts. It saves as you change it, so every coach who opens the report sees the same thing:
Aggregates shows or hides the aggregate row (the group mean) at the top of each column.
Search athletes finds an athlete in a long list.
The filter button narrows to certain Positions and Months, and switches Injuries between HIDDEN and SHOWN (see Injuries).
The date range picks the window. A "Last [x] Days" range moves with today; a custom range stays fixed.
Copying a report
More (3) → Copy report saves a copy of the report, columns included, to another team you coach.
Sharing with a secure URL
More → Secure URL gives you a link and password for someone outside your organization, like an athletic director without a FYTT account. They can view and search the report but can't change anything.
One password covers every shared report
The password isn't per report — it's the team's Reports password, shared by every report you send out. Change or regenerate it in the team's settings under Shared reports, and everyone you've already sent a link to needs the new password.
Athlete reports
An athlete report is a dashboard for one athlete at a time. Build the layout once, then use the athlete switcher in the header to flip through the roster; each athlete gets the same layout with their own data.
Choose New report → Athlete report and set its Name, Date range, and whether it's Athlete facing. A rolling range moves with today; a custom range stays fixed. Change these later with Settings (1).
Panels
A rail down the side lists the athlete's position and the report's metrics; the rest is panels. Click Edit layout (2) to arrange them, then Add panel to pick one:
Single Metric — one metric's most recent measurement as a callout.
Line Graph and Bar Graph — one or more metrics over time.
Pie Graph, Doughnut Graph, and Radar Graph — the most recent values of several metrics together.
Table — measurements in rows.
Exercise — performance on chosen exercises over time.
Attendance — the athlete's attendance over the report's range.
Click Done to leave edit mode. Outside edit mode, Search panels filters a long report down.
Graph colors
Graphs draw each metric in that metric's own color. To change it, edit the metric and pick a new Color — it changes everywhere that metric is graphed, in group reports too. Exercise panels are the exception: pick a color for each line in the panel's own settings.
Sharing with athletes
Turn on Athlete facing and athletes on the team see the report on their own profile in the athlete app — only their own data, never another athlete's.
Check every panel before you turn it on
An athlete-facing report shows athletes everything on it. Keep anything you'd rather they didn't see on a separate, coach-only report.
Training report
The training report shows how much of an athlete's assigned training they actually did. Pick the athlete from the switcher in the header and set the date range.
The compliance line (1) gives the share of prescribed sets done as prescribed ("clean"). Click it to see every set broken into Clean, Varied, Opened, not done, and Never opened. It's set-weighted: every prescribed set counts once, so a long session weighs more than a short one.
Use the view control (2) to switch between Detailed — each week's workouts, marked Complete, Incomplete, Not started, or Exception — and Chart. The Programs filter focuses the report on certain programs.
Compliance comes from logged workouts
Only logged training counts. When coaches record in-person sessions, make sure those workouts are saved, or athletes show as not started.
Attendance report
The attendance report shows who showed up across the team. Each athlete's row has their Attendance rate, number of Sessions, and a heatmap across the date range. Choose Day, Week, or Month (1) to change how the heatmap is bucketed, filter by Group, and use Export (2) to download it.
The report is built from attendance taken on workouts. See Attendance for how it's recorded.
Sprint report
A sprint report plots one athlete's sprint profiles — distance, velocity, force, and power over time — with the key values drawn from them, comparing their three most recent profiles. Each sprint profile set up in your organization gets its own row under the FYTT tab. Use the switcher to change athletes, and Assessments to see the athlete's sprint profiles. See Sprint profiles for setting one up and what each value means.
Exporting reports
Group report — Export (2 on the group report) downloads the report as an Excel (.xlsx) workbook.
Athlete report — the download button (3 on the athlete report), Export to spreadsheet, lets you tick which athletes to include, then builds an Excel (.xlsx) workbook.
Training report and Attendance report — Export downloads a CSV of the athlete or team on screen. The attendance export covers the groups you've filtered to.
Can I export a report as a PDF?
Not directly — reports export as spreadsheets, not PDFs. For a printable copy, export to Excel, open the file in Excel or Google Sheets, and print or save it as a PDF from there. For a live view instead, share a group report's secure URL. See Printing & PDF export for every export in FYTT.
